If you haven't heard it yet, here is a demo of one of the tracks from the upcoming album "In A World Full Of Chaos...The Only Peace Is Death",
which was supposed to be released in a few days but has been pushed back until Summer of 2026.
Nate will be redoing the vocals on this track, and I'm still not done adjusting how I want the guitars to sound. But it is one of my
personal favorites on the new album. Hope you like it.
I added a volume slider to releases page so you don't accidently blow out your eardrums, adjusted the merchandise page a bit, and I
got rid of the MySpace circa 2002 look and tried to make the site look more modern. I don't know if I succeeded or failed, but this
will probably be a version that sticks around for a while. Also there is now a light/dark mode option, as well as a contrast slider
to adjust the color of the text.
I don't know if I've said it yet or not, but this site was not designed with mobile in mind. Why did I do this? Well I hate mobile
phones, and I firmly believe that the introduction of mobile devices was the beginning of the end of classic website design... something
that I still love to this day.
There may be a mobile version in the future, but it's highly doubtful.
You can listen to all of the released material via the Releases / Audio page now. I wrote the HTML for
this but asked the devil aka Google AI to write the JavaScript for me. It's been a tedious few days working on it, but seems like everything
is in good working order now. You can click the album artwork for a bigger version of the image, and there is an auto-play/continous play
option at the very top of the page.
I'm on the fence about adding anymore to this as it's already a complicated HTML structure. If I do add anything else, I will be adding
the lyrics directly to each song. But I'm not quite there yet.
Over the next few days I will be working extensively with all the graphic files that are on the site. Most of these are just
too large in filesize and aren't really website friendly. Perhaps in the future I will add links to the higher resolution artwork
for download, but I'll decide that when that time comes. Until then, I will be replacing everything with much lower resolution graphics
to try and keep the browser load under control.
Oh yeah, I added a new video of a previously unreleased song from the upcoming album. It's a demo version, but
still enough to give you an idea of what direction this album is headed in. I can say this, it's not as noizy as I'd like, but the song
writing is much better than any of the previously released material. I'll let you be the judge if you like it or not. Anyways, check it
out if you got a moment to spare.
Welcome to the official SSYNTAXX website. This is still a work in progress, but here you should be able to find any
and all relevant information that isn't online anywhere else. I plan on adding as much artwork as I can possibly find,
as well as video, lyrics, and mp3 files for you to download and/or stream. Future functionality may include user interactivity,
but that is up in the air right now. I like to try and keep things as simple as I possibly can at this point in my life.
Some future additions will include:
Current Inspirations
Noize Reviews
Some how-to guides on DIY recording
Keep checking back - new things will be added frequently. I spend way too much time screwing around with code...
