JavaScript Hell Is Real [ ↑ ]
I have been struggling for days implementing all of features on this website. There are a few:
- Rudimentary Theme Switcher w/ Contrast Adjustment
- Audio Player w/ Continuous Play option and Volume control
- Gallery image modals and zoom
- Logo "nightlight"
I'm stuck at the "make this piece of shit responsive for mobile" stage, even though I said I probably wasn't going to do it. things
like this typically eat at me until I figure it out. Right now I'm stuck in CSS and JavaScript hell. Trying to get the Navigation
menu to behave the way I want it is becoming nothing short of a personal nightmare.
On to other topics, I am in the middle of a family crisis, so my attention hasn't been on finishing the new album lately. I've been
trying to take care of things here at home and handle the situation that has been handed to me. It's been a frustrating process to
say the least, but it involves close family so it must be done.
I am hoping to have a fully functional mobile version of this website done by the end of January. This will be no easy task, and
I'm bound to fuck up several times along the way. Until then, use a computer.
You know, not to sound like a boomer, but computers are the OG way people accessed websites 25 years ago... and it was glorious. Those were
indeed better times all around. Now everything is overly complicated and unnecessary.
